Hedra ArticlesMarch 2009 8:09 a.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2009 I got up from Reikiing me and my homestead and was cautioned to move slowly, I was laughing with myself when I looked out my window and there was a doe and she had seen me as I saw her. I started beaming her Reiki and she twitched her ears and walked closer. I was hoping that my Aussie, Nakota, would allow her to walk into the yard and he did! As she kept coming closer she told me she was a yearling and I asked her where the other deer were, as you hardly ever see just one. She didn’t respond as she was now eating one of my small bushes. We communicated for a few moments and I realized she was totally healthy as the Reiki gave no indication of injury. She kept watching Nakota as he was some 10 feet from her. She watched as each of my barn cats walked up to the back door, it was a Tuna feed day for them. Then she turned around and walked back towards my Flight Cages (I rehabilitated birds of prey for 20 years and the flights have not been dismantled); and out walked another deer and they greeted each other and the first doe told me that was her Mom. Mom was more nervous with Nakota, yet as I started to beam the Reiki to her, she settled immediately into grazing on my Reiki pasture. Twenty minutes later another doe walked over to the others and this one was injured; left rear hip was fractured, she had been hit by a vehicle approximately 4 to 6 months ago. Reiki on and my hands were now very hot and working the hip area, my assistants were now working on sewing up and fixing the entire left hip so that she could have a full recovery. (In the Inner Energy Seminar you get acquainted with your “energies” who become your assistants). This doe turned to look at me (she could read my energy) and said, “Thank you.” I told her that later today I would do a full Reiki session and Profile to assist her to heal fully. Then another doe walked over and now I saw the small herd of 4 animals. I waited for them to wander down the back pasture before going out to feed the cats their tuna. They stayed in my pasture for another 45 minutes and then trotted off to the NE. Later I ended up Reikiing her for 2 more hours and she loved every minute I gave her. January 14 & 15 I taught a Reiki I Class here at the Warm Fuzzy Center. I try to remember to call in the animals the night before Class so that the students can enjoy being closer to the wildlife and they get to practice giving their Reiki to these animals. Later on the 14th I noticed a herd of deer coming over, 16 in all and each of the deer looked straight at the windows as each of the students gave them Reiki. And on the 15th the entire herd came back, laid down bunched together while they received the Reiki given to people who came in for a free session. Today the 16th, half of this herd came in again and this time roughly 30 feet from the Warm Fuzzy Center; I told them there was no class today, so I ended up giving the herd 45 minutes of Reiki and then they gradually moved off as it was getting dark! It is beautiful to share with the wildlife the energies of Reiki and for them to communicate to me, thanks. I am so lucky to live here with the mountains all around me. To all of you, have a wonderful and peaceful 2009! Diana Lynn Countryman Siderides of the Warm Fuzzy Center
