Waiting for the Dump to open I take time to appreciate and see what animals will appear. I feel some critter not too far from the truck off to the right in the tall grass and send it Reiki and get a “thanks” in return. As soon as the gates were opened, I see that the critter that was hidden by the vegetation is a 4-point young buck that lazily gets up and walks away. Working with “energy” allows me to get closer to the wildlife without frightening them and with that I can communicate and give them the Reiki healing energies. That is why I love to go out very early in the a.m. and “talk” to the animals and share being happy, what a gift for my soul!

Afterwards I drove into the Wildlife Refuge and parked. I started to walk west and even though it was raining it was so beautiful. The sagebrush smelled so good, I couldn’t breathe in enough of that fragrance. So far this was turning out to be a wonderful morning. As I continued walking, I saw 3 more Mule Deer, Reikiied them as they got up and sauntered away. When I am connected to “source” the animals know that I will cause them no harm and so are not on alert with me.

Noticed that the beaver dam is still up and was glad to see it had not been disturbed. I continued walking up the incline to get a good look at the Payette River and it was so beautiful to see a 180 degree landscape of the valley, mountains, low hanging clouds over the river and valleys; glad that I walked up here. Felt some animal energies ahead of me, so I continued to walk up the hill and out sprouted two more deer, then the rest got up and walked slowly across the road maybe 300 feet ahead, each turned and scrutinized me and then ran up a very steep hill without a misstep. The first two deer were more leery of me so I just gave them the Reiki and did not communicate; when the others followed they were more inclined to look at me to see what I would do because I was non-threatening with the first two. All animals read our vibration or energy to find out if we are going to hurt them or just observe. When I follow through with my actions, I am always awarded the space to watch the wildlife. If I were to sneeze, then that would spoil my vibration and then the deer would run faster to get away!

NOW I was really happy that I had walked this way, wanted to keep going, but was told “no,” {‘No’ was a response from the energy telling me to not walk forward, the reasons for no’s are not always known to me, yet I have found it is better to show respect than disregard the suggestion}. I stopped and blessed the four directions, then Mother Earth and Father Sky and walked back to the truck. A very good workout and still raining and the smells were so delicious.

As I got closer to the truck, I watched a skunk that was checking out my truck and as I got closer I asked for safe passage to my truck and the skunk scampered off. GOOD!
