A Day of Reiki with Communications
by Diana Lynn Siderides
When I start my day during these cold winter mornings I am so happy
that my woodstove is still going and keeping my home warm all
because I used the Master Reiki symbol on the woodstove before
retiring. If I forget to use the Master symbol then the woodstove
would have burned out and my home would be on the chillier to
downright colder side. Using the Master symbol on many everyday
routines and appliances/animals can make such a positive difference
in your life.
I always Reiki my and my pets’ food to insure that it is filled with
positive energies and to keep us healthier. Then after the early
morning rituals that I do, such as a 2 hour Reiki session on my dog
and myself, we go out for a walk, he runs for approx. 30 minutes. On
these walks I pre-ask for a safe journey for the both of us and then
I ask for the wildlife to appear if they so choose. Most morning
walks do indeed have wildlife somewhere. The wildlife knows that I
will give them Reiki; they know that Nakota will not chase them
although he will protect me from harm. So far the month of December
has given us the ability to walk with the wild turkeys 10 miles
north of my homestead; Nakota will ask me what are they? And I will
tell him they are wild turkeys, he then will tell me “they smell and
look funny.” The turkeys on the other hand think it is weird that I
can talk to them in their heads and they love the feeling of the
Reiki that I give them while I am out with and around them. We have
been with upwards of 100 turkeys at one time.
Mid December Nakota saw for the first time River Otters – 6 of them
and he was really intrigued and perplexed. The family of River
Otters pulled themselves onto the ice to groom while I talked and
gave them Reiki. The otters thought it odd that I was talking with
them, but again they loved the energies flowing all around them. I
had told them they shouldn’t be so trusting of me as I was human and
with that I attracted another adult river otter who took one look at
me and the entire family disappeared in a matter of seconds!
Nakota doesn’t like to be on the receiving end of being stalked on
our walks; when wolves are in the general area – there is no walk;
Nakota just wants to leave immediately. He has the same mind frame
with bears; yet he is indifferent to cougars and coyotes; Nakota
tells me when they aren’t in hunting mode that we are safe. I don’t
always concur with him, yet Nakota has never been wrong.
Nakota and I have seen for over a week one small beaver that has
taken up in a ditch of flowing water that eventually ends up in the
river. Beavers should be afraid of dogs and yet this one swam to the
water’s edge and dared Nakota, I had to tell him, No – Nakota that
is! Each morning the beaver makes his splash in the water, I give
him Reiki and he follows us a short distance; on our way back Nakota
follows his movements while he is under the ice and I just marvel at
the antics of some of the smaller wildlife.
Just after Christmas, Nakota and I were headed back to the truck
when I caught sight of a wild Mink that was tugging at something on
top of the ice. Then Nakota saw it and walked over quietly toward it
and the Mink walked closer yet to Nakota and I told Nakota, “no” in
my head and he just stood there quietly. At that same moment that I
told Nakota no, the Mink realized that I had spoken to Nakota
silently. The Mink then turned toward me and asked, “How did I do
that?” When I asked him what he was tugging at in the frozen ice,
the Mink ignored me and went over to whatever it was. I told him
that he didn’t have a chance of pulling this thing out because he
wasn’t strong enough and the little Mink turned and just stared at
me. I then gave him some Reiki and he softened immediately, was
relaxed and didn’t seem to have a care in the world. As I got closer
to him, Nakota was still just watching, the Mink walked closer to
the edge of the ice and I suggested to the Mink that he was pushing
his luck; he stopped and stared at me and then I guess he decided it
was time to leave and he was gone.
